I've seen the callouts claiming I "protect men" and "don't support women" so I'm addressing it clearly.
I'm a content creator, I'm human, and I'm an SA survivor. When I received serious allegations about someone being a victim of abuse, I didn't treat it like gossip or content, I took action privately and went directly to the person being described as the victim. After speaking with her, she told me the claims being circulated about her were not true and that she didn't know the person spreading them and had never been in contact with them. That's why I did not amplify those allegations publicly. I'm not turning someone else's relationship into community entertainment, especially when the person at the center is saying it's false.
This is a boundary:
I receive a lot of DMs, and I am not the proper channel for allegations tied to Twitch, Discord, legal issues, or community investigations. If you have credible concerns, use the appropriate reporting channels and moderators. As a survivor, I’m also careful with where I put my emotional bandwidth. I will always support women, but I can't be expected to carry, solve, or adjudicate every situation in a community. If you looked up to me as someone who can "fix" all women's issues in the scene: I hear you, and I'm sorry to disappoint that expectation. At the end of the day, I'm a woman who plays a video game, and I encourage other women to play, improve, and take up space.
