পশ্চিমবঙ্গের তৃণমূল সরকার আজ তাদের নৈরাজ্যপূর্ণ আচরণের মাধ্যমে আরও নিম্নস্তরে নেমে গেল। প্রোটোকলের প্রতি চরম অবহেলা দেখিয়ে তারা ভারতের রাষ্ট্রপতিকে অপমান করেছে।
এই ঘটনা তৃণমূল সরকারের গভীর অবক্ষয়কে প্রকাশ্যে এনে দিয়েছে। যে সরকার ইচ্ছামতো নাগরিকদের সাংবিধানিক অধিকার লঙ্ঘন করে, তারা দেশের সর্বোচ্চ সাংবিধানিক পদ-রাষ্ট্রপতিকেও অসম্মান করতে পিছপা হয় না। আমাদের জনজাতি ভাইবোনদের আয়োজিত একটি অনুষ্ঠানে রাষ্ট্রপতির প্রতি এই অবমাননা আমাদের জাতি ও সাংবিধানিক গণতন্ত্রের মূল্যবোধের প্রতি অপমান।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস সরকার সত্যিই সমস্ত সীমা লঙ্ঘন করেছে। রাষ্ট্রপতির প্রতি এই অসম্মানের জন্য তাদের প্রশাসনই দায়ী।
এটিও অত্যন্ত দুর্ভাগ্যজনক যে সাঁওতাল সংস্কৃতির মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি বিষয়কে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার এতো হালকাভাবে দেখছে।
রাষ্ট্রপতির পদ রাজনীতির ঊর্ধ্বে এবং এই পদের গরিমা সর্বদা রক্ষা করা উচিত। আশা করা যায় পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার ও তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের শুভবুদ্ধির উদয় হবে।
