I’ve been applying to new kitchen jobs for MONTHS because my current job severely undervalues (and underpays) me and I’ve been rejected from all 30 of the jobs I’ve applied to. It makes me feel like I’ve been busting my ass for absolutely nothing. I’m gonna be stuck here forever.

There are certain days where I’m especially aware of the reality that all of the people I love and cherish, including myself, are targets of fascism. Targets of violence. This feeling leaves me standing still in my living room as I write this, terrified to even leave my home.

ICE has shot someone in Minneapolis while they were observing in their car. I’m unfortunately expecting more situations like this going forward as a result of the massive ICE presence in Minneapolis.
