Icl #BlackTechFest was disappointing I had a media pass so it was ok for me but there was no reason why my friends should be queuing for 2+ hours and miss the talks that they wanted to see it’s a bit mad Some stalls were ok, but the Dj honestly saved the day.

who told me to go to black tech fest ffs, should have stayed at home ffsss - wdym there’s a +1 hour queue just to get your ticket checked

Came off a 12hour flight and rushed to attend #blacktechfest It was worth it! Walking into the venue and seeing so many Black leaders and emerging tech talent was a level of inspiration I did not prepare for Shoutout to Dion McKenzie and the rest of the team for a fantastic and inclusive event.

Had such an amazing time at Black Tech Fest! Was super inspirational being around so many people in tech, amazing talks especially by Jackie Aina, Craig David, Fisayo Longe & the few that I caught! Look at all my goodies #BlackTechFest

@uxtshili @PreciousGNSD Hey, we did have a number of tech leaders speaking all the way through the event. Our futures stage and lounge has a number of sessions offering such advice so we'll definitely take your feedback to signpost that more

@PreciousGNSD I thought I was being a hater. Barely any tech leaders, based on fame and hype. It ends up being motivational, instead of practical advice on navigating tech.

We try to put an event together which caters to a wide range of interests and audiences and have a number of specific tech stages afterall the event celebrates the diversity of the back community
