Rough last couple years for Alaba, but man was that guy an important signing. His intensity is down when turtle is on the pitch. My guess is him and Bellingham both are aware Mbappe is better but don’t view the gap as big enough to justify special treatment as if he’s Messi. Especially when they won without him. Not ‘right’ but understandable.
@FabrizioRomano I respect the legacy, but hiring Jose again is a mistake. I am curious why fans believe dated tactics will work in 2026. He will not make any difference. This is just drama for a club that needs stability. It is a step backward.
