Patch 26.10 Rundown is out youtu.be/zH6kMgTGS8o I talk a bit about the minion aggro change inside. TLDR 1. We think the mechanic results in a bunch of prolonged unfun gameplay states, especially in ranged vs melee matchups 2. Our design goal isn't to maximize skill expression, it is often to funnel skill expression into "high visibility, high impact", especially if the behavior is resulting in unintuitive things for many players (minions suddenly changing target for unclear reasons). Eg. In this case, sometimes when players hit the ranged minions they change target, but in other cases they don't (it's really hard to understand) and messes up last hitting for many players 3. There are some skill expression we support that very few people intentionally use, but ideally it is powerful, obvious and observable when it's happening (people understand what's happening)

Every person complaining about this doesnt even use it in their games. On the contrary someone like Faker i went into his vod he did it in EVERY single ranged vs melee matchup. that is the difference, yes you are good but youre not faker level good to complain about this Went through 3 top ranked mid laners and not a single one used this mechanic. Maybe you can pull up a clip in some game somewhere but if youre not taking advantage of it every game it is good to then is it really game breaking if they remove it? can we stop acting like changes like this impact us when we dont even use it, just crying to cry to act like we were so much better than everyone else

Dating a league of legends player means your arguments have a Meta she knows your cooldowns. she knows when you're tilted. she knows exactly when to engage and when to back off. you're not in a relationship you're in a top lane matchup and she has studied it you throw out a "you always do this" that's your Q. predictable. easy to dodge. she sidesteps it and fires back with "remember when YOU did this 2 weeks ago" that's a point and click ability. no counterplay. you try to disengage. walk to the other room. cool down. but she follows. she's not letting you reset. she's freezing the wave outside tower forcing you to come back out and take a bad trade. you think you won the argument? no. she gave you a cs lead so you'd feel confident. she's scaling for late game. that silent treatment is her farming up for a massive all in at dinner tonight. the worst part? she's got your match history memorized. every argument you've ever lost. every dumb thing you've ever said. she's got a mental VOD library and she WILL pull up the replay mid fight. "you told me you'd spend more time with me. that was march. what happened?" MARCH? brother she's reviewing VODs from 4 patches ago to win this trade you're not dating a girl you're laning against a one trick who has 2000 games in this matchup and knows every single one of your patterns and you will not win. you will go even at best. and we all know going even means you lost.
