@ABernNYC That camper is going to decimate range. After owning 3 EVs and towing with all of them, aero is king. This will cut mileage in half or more

@MrAwolf Thx man! Most of it was experiences prior to us releasing a game but it's been hard to bounce back from. Took such a toll on our lives and view of the industry and the people in it. Love seeing your updates btw! Always inspiring!

Don't post here much anymore for a lot reasons ...but for #tbt I'm just gonna note that we've always made games as a passion. But in the last 3 yrs we were hit w/ so much negativity & toxicity, including those we put trust in, that it stripped so much of our passion away (1/2)

@CactusVRStudios We leverage our own proprietary data model, so you can appreciate that we won’t go into a lot of detail, but we believe it gives an accurate determination of the number of times the runtime is distributed for a given project.

Today we announced a change to our business model which includes new additions to our subscription plans, and the introduction of a Runtime fee. We wanted to provide clarifying answers to the top questions most of you are asking. Yes, this is a price increase and it will only affect a small subset of current Unity Editor users. Today, a large majority of Unity Editor users are currently not paying anything and will not be affected by this change. The Unity Runtime fee will not impact the majority of our developers. The developers who will be impacted are generally those who have successful games and are generating revenue way above the thresholds we outlined in our blog. This means that developers who are still building their business and growing the audience of their games will not pay a fee. The program was designed specifically this way to ensure developers could find success before the install fee takes effect. We want to be clear that the counter for Unity Runtime fee installs starts on January 1, 2024 - it is not retroactive or perpetual. We will charge once for a new install; not an ongoing perpetual license royalty, like revenue share. We looked for ways to lessen the impact on developers, and provide ways to bring the Runtime fee to zero. If you’re using any of our ad products, Unity Gaming Services or cloud services, etc. please contact us to discuss discounts. We are actively listening to and following your questions closely. Please review our FAQ (on.unity.com/3PAiqHH) on today’s announcement. We also invite you to continue to discuss these changes with us on our forums: on.unity.com/3RmyLRx.

@HaroldOfRivia Red Dead 2 had a lot of menu clunk, but it was easily overlooked considering how excellent that game is overall

@georgebsocial I stopped reading at “any clunk is easily overlooked” because that’s the problem with these kinds of reviews. Overlooking the problems with the game to force yourself to act like it’s perfect. You can enjoy the game and still admit it has problems that get in the way.

Quick Starfield review. I've been playing non stop. Just ended a 9h session. Look man, I don't know how ppl give the game a 7. I understand reviews are subjective but I think being a jaded burnout factors in. I can see that if you're forced to play games for work every week. I can see nitpicking things tnat most people won't care about. But a 7 for the scope, scale and execution of Starfield is not something I consider a serious review. So let's talk fun stuff. All I know is that it's pretty staggering and cool. Any clunk is easily overlooked. Any confusion is easily Googled. You *are* going to be overwhelmed at the interface at first. But damn, it's just glorious to experience and play and wander around in. If you still like games and adventure, I guess. The side missions are a blast. Space battles are fun. Gun combat is surprisingly solid. It will take a while and google to figure out all the systems and get to understand the core loop. But you know that with a Bethesda game, right? Upgrading gear ticks all the right boxes. I wandered into an off quest place called Lair of the Mantis, via a note I found in another place. Holy shit, this was a major space dungeon. Lots of combat. Traps to figure out. Tough robots to right. Uber gear and a new free ship at the end. I had to fly back to home base twice to get meds! Probably took me 2 hours to clear the place. And it was a side dungeon with good gear. Give me more please. Right into my veins. If you like space adventure and ever wanted to system hop running missions for any number of folks, this is your game. It runs 60 on my pc (32g, 1080Ti) except in major cities (where there's no combat). I have a 3070 coming today to try out. I really enjoy just wandering around doing what I want, and getting back to major questlines as I see fit. I don't play a zillion games and am an average Joe, but once you get 3-4 hours in and start to understand it all and it clicks, it's pretty glorious. I'm reminded of when I first played Oblivion. When I get bored and have done enough I'll just blaze though the main quest like I did in Fallout 3. You certainly don't need me to sell you on a Bethesda game. You know what you're getting and if you enjoyed their games in the past you're gonna love Starfield. Anything under a 9 is just looking for clicks or by someone who isn't a genre fan or something. #Starfield

Hmm should I get BG3 ? Since I have hit a wall in D4. Could I just be done with fantasy games? They are all becoming very generic. Between WoW, GoT and LOTR what else can be done here? Maybe head back into New world. I need an adventure! #games #fantasy
