🦋 Please Read 🦋 Right now I’m sitting here in the heavy post-FanFest depression wave. The high has crashed so hard and I’m feeling deeply down as real life rushes back in… but I have to share this truth anyway because my heart is still overflowing. I arrived in Anaheim nervous and guarded, still wrapped tight in my cocoon. Then Metamorphosis 4.44 began with TBU IRL — my very first set ever. With deliberate outfit choices, I broke out of my cocoon on that stage. The energy cracked me open, old shells shattered, and I finally emerged as the butterfly I was always meant to be. At House of Blues it was my first sold-out show. The bass hit, lights exploded, and many of you cheered me on as I showed off my wings for the first time — fully spread, glowing, free. (Sorry for whacking some of you with them 🤣) By the final show at the Swage House Party x Aemilia’s Cottage I wasn’t just flying… I was giving my wings away, surrounded by so many talented DJs, watching so many of you light up and begin to unfold your own. I never imagined my life would evolve the way it did this weekend. From playing music for my friends in a video game, to going full-time with streaming, and now branching out into the real world like this… it still feels like a dream. This weekend reminded me why I love FFXIV so deeply. The collective energy, shared moments, and off-the-charts collaboration — everything aligned perfectly, like the universe was cheering us on. It rekindled my love for the game, for DJing, and for this incredible community. You were all so supportive, respecting my space while hyping every moment. Many don’t know I’m severely immunocompromised, which is why I’m often sick, cancel streams, and had to keep my face covered. Even leaving with some sickness, your kindness carried me. I love connecting with every single one of you more than words can say. Those careful hugs, shared tears, and “I see you” looks across the floor. you didn’t just attend a set. You held space for my entire transformation. You helped this butterfly finally emerge… and then helped me pass those wings on. Thank you to everyone who made it out in person, and to everyone who couldn’t but still supported from afar. Thank you to every single person who has believed in me and lifted me up over the years to even reach this moment. You all made this possible. I would not have been able to do this without so many incredible individuals who have helped me grow and evolve throughout my time on this game. Thank you from the bottom of my tired, grateful wings.
