Despite some showers, I went for a walk yesterday to enjoy the fleeting spring blooms. Still some lingering showers now, but they will pass shortly, leaving clearing skies by pm. High 23°. Wind W ⬆️15-25. Clear low 11°. Sunny then a sun/cloud mix Tues. & 28°. 30%chance of a ☔️.

Two views of my yard exactly one week apart. The leaves have certainly come out. Today is definitely the better of the two weekend days. Sun will filter through increasing mid and high level clouds. High 20°. Wind E 20 w/gusts >30. Rain from 1am into Sunday am then showers & 13°

The sights and sounds yesterday along the Ottawa River. It’s a cold (frosty in spots) start to your Friday. Plenty of strong late Spring sunshine will help boost temps to a more pleasant 19°. Wind light SE 5 w/gusts 15+. UV 7. Low 5°. Sun fades Sat & 21°. ☔️ Sunday & a cool 13°.

Enjoying the crabapple blooms at sunset yesterday. The cooler, more refreshing air is here. The high will only reach 15° today (norm is 21°), but there will be plenty of sun to enjoy. Wind NW 15-20. Another chilly night coming up w/a risk of frost, but a ☀️ high of 20° Friday.

4 different white spring blooms from my recent walks. If you aren’t a fan of warm/humid weather you will love this forecast. It’s 19° now. High 20° w/clearing skies. Wind WNW ⬆️ 20-40. UV 8. A much cooler low of 4° (norm is 9°). A mix of sun & cloud Thurs. & 15° (norm is 21°).

The recent warmth has started the Lilac blooms. Quite warm today before things cool down starting tomorrow. It’s 19° now. High 29° with clouds, sunny breaks and a slight chance of a stray shower or t’storm. Wind SW 20 w/gusts near 40. An eve ☔️ or ⚡️. Low 19°. ⛅️ Wed. & 18°.

As the Tulip Festival winds down, here are a last few pics of the blooms 🌷. Some showers around this morning then sunny breaks. High 28°. Wind E 15-25+. Low 19°. Can’t rule out showers or even t’storms right into Tuesday. Warm/ humid high in the upper 20s. Cooler Wed. ⛅️ & 18°.

Brought an out of town guest to check out the tulip festival yesterday at Dow’s Lake. The crowds were out & the flowers were magnificent 🌷. Today brings plenty of sunshine with a high of 22°.😎. Wind NW ⬆️ 15-35. UV 7. Low 10°. Showers from 5 to 9am then a sun/cloud mix & 28°.

Spotted this pair of geese and their goslings yesterday. Sunshine today will give way to some cloudy periods and a chance of a shower in spots later on. High 22°. Wind SW ⬆️ 20-40. UV 8. Low 11°. Mainly sunny tomorrow & low 20s. Warm Monday. 🌤️ & 28°. Normal high is 20°.

Spotted these blooms before the rains. 12.5mm of rain yesterday. There is a 40% chance of a shower today, otherwise considerable cloud. It’s 7° now. High 14°. Wind light & variable. Low 9°. Still a slight chance of a ☔️ Fri. am then partly cloudy & 20°. Long weekend looks fine!

Trillium bloom spotted yesterday. All flora and fauna will get a drink today as rain is on the way. It will be chilly too. High only 11° and an East wind 20+ will have a bite. Low 7°. Cloudy Thurs. with a leftover shower possible and 14°. Much milder Fri. & for the long weekend.

I’m not sure if it was the chill but this bee was walking around rather than flying about. It’s a cold 1° now but with plenty of sunshine due today, the high climbs to 14°. That’s still below the normal of 19°, but pleasant enough. Wind NW 10-25. Low 5°. ☔️& a breezy 11° Wed.

Despite the cool weather I spotted plenty of blooms yesterday. It’s a frosty start to the week for many but a milder pattern returns by Fri. It’s 1° now. High 12° (norm is 19°) with sun early then ⬆️ clouds with a few passing showers possible. Low 0° (norm is 8°).🌤️Tues. & 13°.
