I will say this. I have not played a game Yu-Gi-Oh since the banlist. I have no motivation to buy a new deck, to make time to play the game, it turns out, other things compete for YGO. I can play games with friends online, focus on work, gym, my dog. It's not worth it for me.

Random thought. Does YuGiOh have any young content creators? Like 16-20 years old? If not does it even need any? Seems like every big creator is 25-32yo or so. Which seems to be 70% of the demographic with another 20% being 21-24. If a younger population were playing surely we'd have raising/peaking younger content creators popping up right?. Unless the game is just dead to younger individuals and they don't care to try and enter the atmosphere. 🤷 Not a good sign for the longevity of the game though.
