This dude competes. Slo-mo side angle look at ‘27 Collin Vaughan (@CollinVaughan31). The 6-1, 190-pound RHP is up to 88 MPH in his second inning of work. In a grove getting the strikeout here to end it. Has shown slider at 71-75 MPH, curveball at 66 MPH and change up at 80 MPH. Cats open up the #FiveToolFestival with 2 wins lead by 2 outstanding outings on the mound.
Game 1 against Hebron- Senior @JoshDebons tossed a CG gem striking out 7 while spreading 3 hits and 1 BB.
Game 2 against El Paso Americas- Sophomore @MasonLWebb4 got the W on the bump going 5 2/3 allowing 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 5!
Freshmen Lefty @BlakeLyle shut the door on a 4 out save striking out the side to end the game.
Offense on the day was productive against tough pitching with @colemuir9, @avyn_maddux, @NathanRobsonn, @Hudsoncasey2028, and @_landondean_ coming up big!
