Your Wildcats are moving on to the Regional Semis!! The Area Champs took Game 2 4-2 with great defense, competitive pitching and clutch hits! Senior RHP Josh DeBons (@JoshDebons) got the Win on the mound going 5 innings surrendering only 1 run on 5 hits and 6 ks. Freshman LHP Blake Lyle (@BlakeLyle) shut the door and got his second save of the post season going 2 innings with 2 hits and 4 ks. The offense got enough action by 2 seniors but also walked 10 times on the night. Senior INF Cole Muir (@colemuir9) got the 🎇 fireworks going with a 2 run Home Run. But Senior OF/LHP Jacob Conlon (@jacob9c) had a heck of a night all around doing 2-3 with a Double, bb, 2 runs, and 2 stolen bases- but his biggest impact came on a diving play in right to end an inning with runners on base! The Cats will continue their postseason against Midlothian Heritage next week with details to come soon! Freshman LHP Blake Lyle (@BlakeLyle) made his second appearance of the post season after getting the Save in game 2 he came in and tossed 3 shutout innings in Game 3 and got the Win for the Cats! Showed a ton of poise to pick off a runner trying to steal 3rd to get a big out in the 7th! Final line for the Freshman was 3 IP 0 Runs 3 singles 2 Ks

Wildcats take Game 2 in Dramatic fashion scoring 3 runs in the top of the 7th inning!! A gutsy performance by Senior RHP Josh DeBons (@JoshDebons) who led the Cats on the mound to a win and a save by Freshman LHP Blake Lyle (@BlakeLyle) to slam the door with a backwards K! DeBons went 6 2/3 scattering 8 singles and allowed 3 earned runs on 7 ks and 3 bb. The clutch rbi hitting came from Seniors Andrew Curry (@Andrew_Curry6) and Joshua Viars (@JoshuaViars)! Curry had a bases clearing triple to tighten the game and Viars delivered a huge 2 run Double to tie the game in the 7th. Senior Jacob Conlon (@jacob9c) brought home Viars for the win!!! Your Cats are back in North Forney Saturday afternoon at 1 pm for the deciding winner take all game!! So proud of these guys and the way they competed for each other!
