Yeah, there's the rub. They're not going to. Keeping fighters under contract is *central* to UFC's operations.

To be clear, their one-offs can "compete" with the UFC in terms of viewership on their respective nights, such that they can be made. But as an org, no, there is no such thing as competing with the UFC. It's a literal impossibility.

- I really don’t understand this line whatsoever for Vucevic. It’s not uncommon for players to play heavy minutes in their first game with a new team. It’s so uncommon we just saw it 5 hours ago:

- Landale just dominated in his first game with the Hawks, and saw high usage/high minutes. For Vucevic, who has been an All-Star caliber center, he should start over Queta and play 30+ minutes.
- But maybe the matchup isn’t that great vs the Heat and Adeabyo? Oh wait, Vucevic has been a rebounding machine vs Bam his entire career (min 25 minutes played):
