@StoicSkeptic A) if you make it harder to vote because you can't afford the documents needed to vote, that becomes an issue. B) where was voter fraud in 2016? Or in 2024? How are three areas of government controlled by Rep seats...but voter fraud is a thing? Will it be egregious in the future?

By any reasonable standard, voting today is easier than it’s ever been. Combine that fact with the fact that, other than the deterrent of potential criminal prosecution which rarely happens— “Because voter fraud is so rare!” Democrats love to tell us, of course, after the 2020 election at least— in multiple states very few if any truly effective methods for preventing voter fraud currently exist. To add injury to insult, even when they do detect voter fraud, if it’s not caught before the vote is tallied, the fraudulent vote still counts (see: nbcnews.com/politics/2024-…). Talk about a fait accompli. Is it any wonder then that many people fail to appreciate that we might have a major problem with voter fraud in this country? Or are we dealing with a situation where at least some people do know we have a major problem but they are willing to ignore or minimize it because it benefits them politically?

A democracy which prioritizes making it easier to vote over making it harder to cheat is doomed to be ruled by those who betray it rather than governed by those who honor it.

🚨BREAKING: Retired Marine Joey Jones just NAILED IT on VOTER ID: "If you can't handle proving you're a citizen...I don't give a D*MN if you don't vote again, because I don't CARE what you have to say!" “If that’s mean or elitist, I really don’t care! And if you’re a politician and those are the people you’re advocating for, I really hope you lose too!" “If you’re going to be in the greatest and most prosperous country in the world, you should want to take part in it and give a little to do it." "JFK said ‘don’t ask what your country can do but ask what you can do for your country’: You can find your birth certificate and go get a free ID to vote. That is what you can do for your country!" 🇺🇸 PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. Do you firmly support this? IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UP👍!! MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON 𝕏. LET’S GO 👏

@elonmusk I don't think they're trying to ban the concept of voter ID, so the sky isn't falling hossanova. However, the idea of making people show ID, that costs someone outside of their means, is unconstitutional. Maybe make the IDs free of charge as a compromise?

No voter ID, especially when combined with mail-in ballots, means the system is engineered to make fraud impossible to prove. Everyone knows that you can barely get through your week without showing ID for the most banal activities, like shopping at Costco. The only reason to ban ID is to hide massive voter fraud.
Katie Miller@KatieMiller

The reality is there's mass amounts of cheating in our elections. Just because there's an engineered lack of data, does not mean there isn't data to the contrary. The new CBS/YouGov poll shows that 80% of Americans support Voter ID including 80% of black Americans & 77% of Hispanic Americans. Yet why is it that Congress seems so intractable to wanting to pass a such a popular policy?

@grey4626 Apologies that was a lot 2 read but in general, the chain of command is important. Unfortunately, the person at the tippy top isnt necessarily the most qualified. Not that a president needs 2 serve (definite +) but the current one ran away from the responsibility a few times

You absolute fucking idiots. The General was right, and your collective meltdown exposes everything that's rotten in your understanding of duty, hierarchy, and the brutal realities of command. In the profession of arms, the chain of command isn't a polite suggestion or a partisan speed dial to Congress. It is the iron backbone that turns a mob of armed men into a disciplined force capable of projecting lethal power across the globe without dissolving into mutiny or hesitation the moment bullets fly. President as Commander-in-Chief under Article II. Secretary of War. Combatant Commander. Down to the last private with boots on the ground. That is the sacred hierarchy enshrined in the Goldwater-Nichols Act, the Uniform Code of Military Justice...Articles 90, 92, 133...and two and a half centuries of blood-earned wisdom from Normandy to Fallujah to the current Iran ops. Congress has the power of the purse and the constitutional authority to declare war...when they bother to do their goddamn jobs instead of grandstanding for clips...but they sit deliberately outside that operational chain for a reason. They are not military. They are civilians. Politicians. Turning generals into congressional snitches would be the fastest path to destroying good order and discipline since Caligula made his horse a senator. If an order is manifestly unlawful...clear war crimes, not some activist-lawyer fever dream cooked up to kneecap a President you hate...the duty is crystal under UCMJ and DoD directives: refuse it, seek JAG counsel, report it ruthlessly up the chain through IG channels to the Commander-in-Chief himself. Not leaking to the Senate like some treasonous little shit stirring drama for cable news hits. The General's answer wasn't evasion. It was textbook integrity. Professional steel forged in the crucible of real command. He refused to pledge allegiance to legislative theater over lawful authority, and every military mind with actual skin in the game knows why: break that chain, and you don't have an armed forces anymore...you have a politicized clusterfuck, paralyzed by second-guessing, ripe for collapse when the enemy exploits the fracture. Warren's little ambush was never about oversight or the Constitution. It was pure psychological warfare, insidious and calculated...the same divide-and-conquer poison every weak institution-slayer deploys to erode loyalty from within. Seed doubt in the ranks. Fracture the unbreakable bond between warrior and command. Turn soldiers into political operatives who hesitate in the moment lethal force is required, because now every order comes with a Senate subpoena hanging over it. That's not "defending democracy." That's the malignant tactic of those who fear a strong executive enforcing the will of the voters they despise. These blue-check pussies and congressional parasites who've never worn the uniform, never carried the weight of sending men to die, never felt the visceral psychology of command cohesion...they screech "frightening!" and "concerning!" because they desperately crave the military as their private enforcement arm against outcomes they can't control. Pathetic. Projection at its most venomous. The profound truth, the one that cuts like a bayonet through this partisan fog: armies that let outsiders bypass the chain become praetorian guards for whoever holds the microphone or the deepest pockets. Ours endures precisely because leaders like this General understand that true loyalty to the Constitution flows through disciplined, lawful channels, not through narcissistic oversight porn orchestrated by a Massachusetts socialist who couldn't command respect in a fucking kindergarten class, let alone a rifle platoon under fire. He was right. Full stop. You are wrong. And your frothing stupidity reveals exactly why the Republic's guardians answer to the elected Commander-in-Chief, not to the permanent bureaucracy's lapdogs. 🗡️💀⚖️

Trump didn’t fire Kristi Noem because she failed to respond to the floods in Texas which claimed the lives of at least 100 people. He didn’t fire her because Americans were murdered by her rabid masked goons. He didn’t fire her for posing for photos in front of human beings in cages like they were livestock. He didn’t fire her for racially profiling Latinos, African-Americans, Arab Americans and Asian Americans. He didn’t fire her because she was arresting legal permanent residents and US citizens and detaining them illegally. He didn’t fire her because she was keeping children in fetid, rancid concentration camps without access to clean water, fresh food or medical care. He didn’t fire her for turning our cities into militarized war zones. He fired her because she made him “look bad.” That was the red line. None of the other things were.

@SegaGen75720321 @HoodieRamey The Ravens have always been and will always be a better team with the threat of Lamars legs. And it doesnt have to be crazy, but defenses that have to respect his running lose the ability to drop another dude into coverage. The limited snaps Snoop had last season also proves this

@HoodieRamey A team where your QB has to be the leading rusher is not a Super Team. No QB in NFL history has won a SB being it's teams' leading rusher on the season. Our best WR was also a rookie that year and we had no elite pass rusher.

I paid a $169.29 breakfast bill and left the tip at $0. Not because I didn’t notice the line — but because tipping, for me, is still a personal choice, not a fixed charge. The meal itself was fully paid for. The prices were set, the tax was added, and the total was clear. Covering that bill already supports the restaurant, its staff, and its operations. That part of the transaction was complete. What made this moment uncomfortable wasn’t the math — it was the pressure that followed. Tipping used to be a way to say “thank you” when service stood out. Somewhere along the way, it shifted into an expectation that can feel detached from the actual experience. Everyone comes in with different circumstances, different standards, and different limits. Respecting that choice — whatever the number — is part of keeping trust between customers and businesses. When that respect slips, so does the desire to come back. Credit: Lena Anderson via FB

Do terrorists not strike after hockey games? 3) He didn’t have a sip of beer, he was chugging and obviously shitfaced. We all saw it. 4) Chugging beers and screaming is cool when you’re 19 years old in college. It’s not cool when you’re an adult who runs a federal agency. Real men don’t get shitfaced in public and post videos online. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud: A handful of billionaires with more money than entire states are openly backing a political movement and somehow the people struggling to pay rent think they’re on the same team. You’re not. This isn’t populism. It’s power consolidation. It’s not about freedom. It’s about control. And history is very clear about what happens when extreme wealth and political loyalty merge. Wake up before it’s too late.

You’re not “fighting for truth.” Either you’re a Democrat Party apparatchik troll OR profoundly naive and inexcusably ignorant, OR too stupid to pour piss out of a boot. I temporarily lived in California for ten years and I have personally witnessed Democrats openly committing election fraud WITH the voter registrar’s enthusiastic personal approbation. My wife and I were registering to vote and filling out registration forms while they openly committing voter fraud so they obviously had NO FEAR of legal consequences. Look at California government. You have to be a total idiot to not realize that there is no way this could happen without election fraud. Democrats WILL pay a price for their criminality. Don’t even bother with your “Republicans do it too” argument because I want THEM locked up too. I want EVERY person holding elected office or positions of government power like police, lawyers, and judges, who are caught committing felony crimes to get DOUBLE the maximum sentence.
