Darius Slay will go down as one of the great trades in #Eagles history. Philly acquired him for a 3rd- and 5th-round pick, and he delivered three Pro Bowl seasons, won a Super Bowl, and had a major impact mentoring Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean as the Eagles’ next era in the secondary began to emerge.

Remember, it was the Ravens Eric DeCosta who sold the #Eagles on Jaire Alexander being OK to acquire. Alexander retired shortly after being dealt. I don’t t buy for a second what they’re selling on Crosby, especially now that they landed Hendrickson just hours later.

When the Eagles signed Reed Blankenship as a UDFA out of Middle Tennessee State in 2022, he got just a $5K signing bonus and just $55K in guaranteed money. He turned himself into a contributor, then a starter and now gets a nice contract from the Texans as a free agent.
