If yugioh is important hobby for you and you like the traveling to big event part you can definitely make it cheaper. Still i would love some better prices too

Hotels close to venue are more expensive so maybe cab to/from venue 6x ? Depending on location, 2k is super possible. Most will be closer to 1k
