Why should you give God praise for what He has done? Praise is a weapon: - That ensures that the enemy does not bother you again. 1 Samuel 7: 10-13. - One battle may come immediately after a victory. If you don't praise Him for that victory, who will you run to when the next battle comes? The children of Israel praised God after He took them across the Red Sea. Exodus 14. They faced another army, and God was at hand to help them. Exodus 15: 1-21. - The secret of Bartimaeus was not how loud he shouted, but something he said that caused Jesus to stand still and arise for Him. He hailed Jesus by calling His Name. Mark 10: 46-52. If you praise God correctly, the Almighty God will rise up for you. Day 1: Praise Jam #HGC2024 #OnwardChristianSoldiers

Pastor E. A. ADEBOYE OPENS UP 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥 "When I was a little kid, my elder (half-brother) traveled to the nearest town near us and when he was returning, he came back with a face cap. Very colourful and beautiful beyond measure to us, the little ones. We’ve never seen anything like that before. So, we all gathered round him admiring the face cap. Then, he did something very funny. He took off the face cap and placed it on my head. ‘oh! he allowed me to wear this beautiful thing?’ All the other children were amazed and were very envious of me. Thereafter, he said something unbelievable. He said to me, ‘I bought it for you’. To say the truth, I nearly fainted with joy. That scenario happened around 1950. Several years passed until maybe about 22 years, and one night, I couldn’t sleep, and for one reason or the other, my mind went back to the day because I was trying to go over my life, thinking of days of joy and my mind went back to that day. A question came to my mind, ‘what have you done for that man?’. As a result, I made up my mind what I will do. So, one day, he was sitting at home in our village. He was a poor farmer who hasn’t even got money to buy a bicycle. My driver and another fellow drove a car into the front of the house. Now, whenever they hear the sound of a car in front of our house, they assume I have come. So, he came out with the others and exclaimed, ‘haha! Where is Daddy G.O.?’ ‘oh! He is not here’ ‘OK. Why are you here?’ ‘Daddy G.O. said we should tell you that this car is yours, this man will be your driver. He said he will pay for the driver, he will fuel the car, and he will maintain the car.’ The man replied, ‘what are you saying?’ My driver answered, ‘that’s the message’ They later reported back to me that when they told him, he was looking for a chair to sit on because he felt dizzy. THAT WAS EXACTLY HOW I FELT IN 1950." ...................................... This year, your destiny helpers will not rest until they call for you and bless you in the mighty name of Jesus. #PastorEAAdeboye #truelifestory #destiny #rccgworldwide #Naijasermons

*In Yorubaland, money has never been foremost in Yoruba value system* *In our value system money is number six* *What are the first five you may ask?* 1. The first is làákà’yè - The application of knowledge, wisdom & understanding... (Ogbón and ìmò òye) 2. The second is Ìwà Omolúàbí - (integrity) Someone with integrity is a man/woman of their words. If you have all the wealth in the world but lack integrity, you are not worth a thing. Integrity is combined with iwa, (character) which we regard as Omolúàbí. 3. The third is Akínkanjú or Akin - (Valour). That is why Balóguns is second-in-command to the leaders in Yoruba land. Balóguns are people that can lead them to war. To lead with great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle. Yoruba people have no respect for cowards. 4. The fourth is Anísélápá tí kìíse òle - (Having a visible means of livelihood). A person must be identified with a visible means of livelihood that guarantees a lawful income or sustenance. His or her profession or job must be open and legally approved by society, and not through cheating or forcefulness. 5. The fifth is iyi - (Honour) Yoruba people place a premium on the gait with which individuals carry themselves and public reputation. That is why Yorùbá people usually say when you set out to look for money and you meet honour on the way then you don't need the journey anymore, because if you get the money, you will still use it to buy honour. 6. The last in the Yorùbá value system is owó tàbí orò - (Money or wealth). If putting money ahead of the other five, then you are nobody in Yoruba land of the olden days. Unfortunately, this is being pushed to the front burner nowadays due to the erosion of our value system. Retweet for all omoluabi

Madam PresIdent: It is All About Nigeria
My eyes are on Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy. This is an intriguing one and I am curiously optimistic that it will be a game changer for Nigeria. With this, PBAT has demonstrated that he is in touch with modern economy. I remember Ambode being asked a question during his campaign about marine/ocean economics and he floundered. I remember then researching on blue economics. Nigeria has not leveraged on its oceans for revenue for ages past shipping activities. It has been a latent sector, largely unregulated for the wide areas that blue economy covers and it has been left to Agencies like NIMASA, NPA and the Shippers Council to develop. A Ministry may turn out to be good for coordination and enlargement of the blue economy. For those who may be curious as to this new ministry and wonder if it is just a fancy name, let me give you some of my research information: "The blue economy, or the ocean economy, is a term used to describe the economic activities associated with the oceans and seas." The WB defines it as the “sustainable use of ocean resources to benefit economies, livelihoods and ocean ecosystem health”. The areas it covers include maritime shipping, fishing and aquaculture, coastal tourism, renewable energy, water desalination, undersea cabling, seabed extractive industries and deep sea mining, marine genetic resources, and biotechnology. This new one may take a while to come to its own, but it is a good thing that it is being set up distinctly. I also like the new focus of Tourism. We have had this ministry before but with the person at the helm being a tourist person, we may be in luck. For tourism to contribute to our GDP significantly, we need guaranteed security, which leads me to wonder at the appointment of those 2 souls into Defence Ministry. Is it that we do not need someone who truly has a defence background in that Ministry? I understand opposite thinking and divergent thinking as well, but I would have felt better with one person who is professional and one other who is divergent.
