Data centers create no direct employment (since it’s one of the things politicians brag about). They need 24*7 uninterrupted electricity (something which even major Indian cities don’t have) and incredible amount of fresh water (which is in huge deficit/stress in India)
I am not a Luddite but how do the investors think this a good idea?

We are just replacing gulf with a much more difficult country like the USA,along with so much car mileage maintenance problems for the common man . With lesser mileage we will be importing even more fuel.

India produces less than 5% of global Ethanol with blending upto 20% now.
The price of Petrol didn’t fall after blending.
The common man had 0 benefit.
