Today, our school proudly celebrated UAE Flag Day with a special ceremony. The flag was raised as students sang the national anthem, and the UAE Oath was recited by one of our senior Emirati student representatives, Khalifa - honouring the unity and spirit of the nation.

A huge congratulations to our Head Girl, Inaya who has received the life-changing opportunity and remarkable honour of being selected for the Dubai Student Council, formed under the directive of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

There were all kinds of activities centred around mental health and wellbeing last week, including this fantastic art installation in the Well-being Room. Our ‘B’ is now covered in butterflies of every kind and colour, handcrafted by our students from across grade levels.

We're back! It has been wonderful to see all of our returning families, to witness the excitement of our new seniors setting up their MacBooks, sweet moments as new friendships begin to form and the general buzz and exuberance of our happy school, filled once more with students!

Professional Development is in swing for our fantastic team of teachers and support staff this week. This morning’s session: Safeguarding & Wellbeing Training – an important annual certification undertaken by all staff to ensure children are protected, safe, happy and achieving.

A huge congratulations to our students for an exceptional set of #MYPresults, as well as to their families and our teaching and learning staff. With an average score of 44, #BWA students performed significantly above the global average of 37.7.

Many thanks to @dubaidrums for their visit to our Early Excellence Centre last week. It was a joyful, sensory-rich experience allowing our youngsters to work on their motor skills, listening, and social connection — and, most importantly, have a fantastic time. #bloomworldacademy

In an intermission in Mr Bell's busy schedule, two Early Excellence Centre students earnestly presented Thank You cards, before scrambling over the furniture and spotting iconic Dubai landmarks from his office window.

Last night, as the sun set in the Dubai sky, our school community — 86 nationalities strong — came together for our #iftar event. With dishes from all corners of the world, conversation and laughter, those observing #Ramadan broke their fast alongside friends and schoolmates.

Our 39 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award holders! We are very proud of our intrepid teens, who successfully completed a 24km trek, navigated using only a compass and maps, while carrying all camping gear, water and supplies on their backs. #bloomworldacademy
