When our Bloomfield Downtown Revitalization committee needed quick help putting their logo onto glassware for an upcoming festival, Mrs. Evans’ Trig students took on the challenge & completed the job within hours. We love the opportunity to help our community! Good job, all!

They did it! My Finite students designed and built this produce stand in The Makery. Some had never even used a screw driver, so they learned a lot! I’m so proud of their perseverance and their finished product! 💪 #itsgreattobeabloomfieldcardinal ❤️

Pretty proud of these kids! They have gone way out of their comfort zones and have done it with a smile on their faces.

Ms, Burton’s business students are also have some fun in The Makery this week! They are making shirts for their food truck businesses. They are coming up with some pretty unique business names and slogans!

7th graders have been hard at work in The Makery! They were asked to design and build a pet sanitary station for Heal Pet Care. It’s been so fun learning with them!

@alextvalencic @cbrownLmath I consider a “prep” as a course I must prepare to teach. So, I have 5 preps and one free period in which to prep for those 5 courses.

@cbrownLmath The use of the language. I don't understand why they don't say "I teach three courses" instead. It seems odd to say they "teach preps" which are, by definition, the periods when they are not teaching.

Is "teaching multiple preps" a common turn of phrase among secondary teachers?
