🚨 PARKING REMINDER 🚨
The Bloomfield Police Department reminds all residents:
ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM ALL Board of Education AND SCHOOL PARKING LOTS BY 7:00 AM THIS MORNING.
🚗 Any vehicles left after 7:00 AM may be subject to ticketing and/or towing.
Slow down for safety — especially around schools. If a person is struck by a car going 20 mph or slower, the odds of survival are good. Above 35 mph, the impact is likely to be fatal.

The Bloomfield Police Department is working with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety to promote safer streets by conducting pedestrian safety enforcement operations as part of a year-long safety effort.
Driver safety tip: Do not pass vehicles stopped at or adjacent to crosswalks and intersections. Look for pedestrians before proceeding.

The regret will last all year if you get a DUI on New Years Eve. You’ll deal with the costs, courts, and consequences beyond 2026. We’ll be out on NYE with DUI enforcement. Avoid regrets, celebrate responsibly. njtrafficsafety#newjerseydhts
We’ll make the holidays more expensive for you if you decide to drink and drive. A DUI can cost you thousands of dollars, stays on your record forever, and is dangerous. BPD is partnering with the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety to get drunk drivers off the road
