The Bloomfield Police Department is working with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety to promote safer streets by conducting pedestrian safety enforcement operations as part of a year-long safety effort.

Municipal Plaza Closed - Holiday Tree Lighting 12/1/25 Today , 12/1/25, Municipal Plaza will be closed from 4 PM- 10 PM between Bloomfield Ave. and Franklin St. for the 2025 Holiday Tree Lighting being held at Town Hall. Police Officers will be on scene directing traffic.
