Another awesome Art Exhibition this evening hosted by our phenomenal Art Department. So much talent, skill and creativity on display - this showcase event left our visitors speechless with admiration - Well done everyone!

An inspirational afternoon as Year 10 hosted their YPI Citizenship Fair. They were all fabulous advocates of their chosen charities displaying knowledge, passion and selfless commitment. Well done to all the teams!

We are extremely proud of Leah Massey, a winner in the Texaco Art Competition- who, in addition to her prize, will have the honour of having her artwork exhibited at the International Arts Festival in Tokyo this summer- an amazing achievement for this brilliant young artist.

Year 9 have an exciting action-packed careers event at St George’s Market today - 4C UR Future are providing a series of challenges to identify their strengths and talents - to help them to make informed decisions about their future choices - an amazing opportunity!

BCS CCF Easter Camp is drawing to a close and what a fantastic squad of plucky cadets we have - shooting, drill, command tasks, assault course, STEM activities, military knowledge, archery, PT and the field gun - so many challenges to navigate and conquer-and they all triumphed!

An astronomical collection of awards for our star dancers at the Ulster Dance Championships this weekend - with success in solo, duet and team performances and the highest marks overall in the secondary school section - totally fabulous - massive congratulations!

Tonight in Belfast City Hall, at the finals of Young Enterprise, our HappyBags Company were awarded Northern Ireland runners-up and a special recognition prize for teamwork - a fabulous evening and a fabulous team of Bloomfield pupils - so proud of each member of HappyBags.

Challenged and inspired for the future at the EBALC Generation Innovation Impact Day held in Bloomfield Collegiate - pupils were encouraged to - fail fast and fail forward - underpinning the dynamic ideation process - a massive thank you to @CatalystNI.

What a fabulous team of young entrepreneurs we have here at BCS! They had a wonderful experience at the NI Final of the Young Enterprise Company competition held at Invest NI HQ this morning. Well done and thank you for all your commitment and hard work ladies-we are so proud.

Thank you to our fabulous librarian, Mrs Furphy, for hosting the Book Fair this week - super to see all the excitement and enthusiasm that lovely new books engender.

Year 13 was totally inspired by the infinite possibilities presented to them at the UCAS Conference today.
