Parking in street metered spots and in downtown parking garages will be free this weekend as a part of the City's holiday parking initiative to help residents reach downtown businesses for holiday shopping. Parking in City Hall and Showers West lots will be available after 5pm.

An urn was recovered a few weeks ago after a caller reported it had been left on their doorstep. The urn has been logged into safekeeping at BPD headquarters. If you believe this belongs to you, please call the police department at 812-339-4477 to verify ownership and claim it.

Members of the Bloomington Police Department, along with representatives from Kroger Pharmacy and the DEA, will be at Highland Village Kroger on Saturday October 25th from 10am-2pm collecting expired and unused prescription medications for safe disposal.
