🚀 Update v2.8.3 is here! Quick hot fix on weekly shiny quest artist list issues - it should now show artists that you have a shiny badge for. Genre drop power-up is also better now at only 70 coins and it lasts for 3 hours!

In addition, week 3 updates are here! It’s a relatively quiet week as we lay the groundwork for a more stable Soundmap: • We are working on adding full shiny song detection (separate from full shiny badge detection) and hoping to have it in v2.8.4 • Last week we did two more rounds of backend fixes. The server seems to be a little better now! We have more fixes going out this week and we’ll continue to monitor the situation • Grammy 2026 is going live later this week! • We started on React Native upgrades. Phase 1 is finished but we realized that the app has 30+ custom patches and all of them needs to be checked/updated… We’ll continue to push ahead on that and get a stable version out soon. The goal remains the same: finish react native upgrades and work on battery optimization. Q&A: • Grammy: Yes it’s happening :) • Leaderboard by Country: Definitely something we can add in the future. Marked it down in our backlog. • 2nd copy untradeable from lootboxes: We hear you on this and we’ll think about this suggestion a bit more • K-Pop map epic cutoff: Based on your feedback, we’ll adjust it to top 750! 🚀 v2.8 is here and it’s time for.... RADIANT, the latest rarity in Soundmap, is finally here!!! - New design with special layout, glows, and HOLO textures. Hold to tilt or spin it! - Radiants will also spin on showcase - Disable effect will disable spinning and epic video from auto-playing - Acquire radiant by evolving a shiny through Radiant artists quest. The difficulty of the radiant artist quests multiplies based on the rarity of the base shiny song (roughly the same as current weekly shiny quest for common, 2x for uncommon, and 4x for rare). Radiant artists quest now replaces weekly shiny quest and you can re-roll radiant quests. Super trader boost holders still have infinite re-rolls. - You can access radiant quest through either quest or gem center - Lastly there’s radiant leaderboard and radiant badge! We’ll monitor and adjust radiant quest difficulty + gem throughput based on feedback! P.S This is a pretty significant change to our code and some things might break. We tested as much as we can but please let us know on all social channels if you see any issues and we’ll try to fix asap! P.S More editions soon... and maybe they’ll be numbered and 1 of 1
