Bridgewater was suspended from coaching his high school alma mater team in 2025 for covering food and transportation costs for his players while seeking financial aid from supporters. The vote was 38-0.

No high school coach should be coming out of pocket to take care of kids that are being charged by FHSAA to compete and represent them. It should be on the state or at the very least the school. Coaches don’t make enough to do this especially not in Florida! Make it make sense

Teddy had that money because he’s rich already most high coaches in Florida make a stipend for coaching and it’s less than 5-6k a season…how are regular coaches going to be able to afford to put 15k into a season to help their kids if their broke
