@FigOutFantasy @FamousCyy Prerelease allocations are handled direct through TPCi and don't have the same problems normal stock does. $30 is the standard set by TPCi, some will charge $35 if they have a good reason to but $50 is straight up scalper territory and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Are you sure that $50 isn’t the only price they can charge to ensure that they can keep the lights on with their margins? I’m unfamiliar with the store myself but I’ve heard that with allocation issues and just overall price increases at MSRP that these stores barely break even with what they’re charging.

@Abranead Pretty good, if they whif a turn 1 ko the prize map you’re making them take is an easy 3-2-3, if they do get it you need to reuse Dudunsparce ex but it’s not too bad. If they’re on passimian that can be an issue if you don’t find cape at the right time but there is counterplay

@ColdAsIceBruh I think the Froslass is way better, it’s much easier to spam early and makes opponents burn through resources to keep their hand small. Also 4 Wally is absurdly powerful in a format without easy 1-shots

@Blue21652 Is this variant drastically worse or does the froslass really change a majority of the matchups?

@CrispedWafer Played my first game with it sitting in the store waiting for the tournament to start lol, but thinking about it Festival doesn’t seem terrible, they can only reach for a 1-shot maybe once, and never with the cape, so it’s probably fine with Wally spam. Def precarious tho

@CrispedWafer Tbh I don’t know, everything I’ve played against seemed fine, the only thing I can think of is Garchomp if they manage their hand well but even then cape on a Froslass and 4 chained Wally’s is probably good enough

@davidruther @thefleeee No it does not (assuming the Bolt had 3 energy on it when the attack was announced). The energy is discarded in step H, after the damage is done. Bolt chooses the amount of energy it's going to discard, then places the damage, then discards the energy.

I've clicked Nihil Zero more times so far this format than Cosmic Beam, someone talk me down that this card is good

@KingesqueKing I think Grimm is hella underrated rn, sure it has pretty bad matchups into the grass decks but it’s marginally to very favored into basically everything else. It also help Spikemuth is still a busted card, especially in Budew’s world where your supporter is so much more important

Post rotation meta tier list because I'm bored. If your deck is not shown here it is for one of two reasons: 1. Raging Bolt is probably a really good deck rn but nobody plays it and I haven't felt like trying it yet 2. You need a new deck if you want to win a single game
