A wonderful lunch at Kibele, a Turkish restaurant in central London 😊 From the amazing chocolate fondant, to the glorious manti (dumplings filled with lamb), to the chicken shish, the lamb cutlets, and the magnificent tower of pistachio baklava - it was a proper food fest! 😋 A shoutout to one of my co-diners, Sandie who introduced me to a new word, pre-disabled👏 Did you know that 30% of those 70+ in the UK report some sort of disability? So the idea is that we all become aware that disability in whichever form could effect 1 in 3 of us And so by recognising it could happen to any of us, it brings people closer together, such that we help and support one another, including, calling out governments that cut benefits and support to the disable community One nation, one community, let's look after one another 👏

Today I'll be at City Hall as part of a co-production day working on the London Plan for Deaf & Disabled People. Will I be moaning? After a hell of a journey to the east end & a row with security I imagine so. No change there then.
