@StartPlayer @wisegoldfish My codesigner and I think about that all the time. A lot of the great old games would probably be deemed as being too random or not having a strong enough hook. But games like Lost Cities and 6 Nimmt still get heavy play for a reason

@wisegoldfish Weirdly I was thinking about this game and other older ones. What comments would I get if I took it to a play test group!

For those out there who have played Lost Cities, what do you think of it? I've played it a lot over the last 10 years, but more recently I feel like between 2 evenly matched players, the game is decided by the deck (i.e. your opponent getting more 9/10s) - am I missing something?

@ArkAngel_Games We think it went really well. Great turnout (about 12 people). Tested 6 games and everyone remained in good spirits. Definitely do it again!

Bid day for @BlueBoxDesigns today as two of our game pitches resulted in requests for prototypes. We've been working really hard on our games so it's lovely to get these moments of encouragement.

@perryjon @CardboardEdison How do you approach it, Jon? Air, Land & Sea is beautifully balanced. Did you have a particular approach you used? And did the small size of the game make it easier/harder for you?

@WoosungGames Gloomhaven was a godsend for my wife and I during lockdown over the past 12-18 months!

@WoosungGames I'm a big fan of Lost Cities, Jaipur, and Jekyll Vs Hyde. I'd also say that Gloomhaven is best with 2p.

@ex1stgames I think there's already a game with that title. 😥

Need a title for a game. Casual/family 4-6 players. Squirrels gathering nuts for the winter. I just keep coming up with semi-perverted titles. I want more of a mass-market title.
