@IAmBlurain My best guess is that it is just a characteristic of the mic (or the preamp) when you are pushing higher SPLs. Sounds like distortion/saturation. You mention it doesn't sound as bad on a song with a different effects chain, and you may be onto something there

I've tried looking up this issue as well, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, I don't know anything technical about singing or music I'm general, so every piece of advice I find turns fruitless Also this applies to all singers, I just said SM7b cause I use it

@IAmBlurain You could try to experiment with changing the order of the chain, or carefully listen to the dry signal to see if it is there, or turn off individual plug-ins in the chain to see if one of them makes it noticeably worse

@TChristianFurry As for those teachings, it might be helpful to reach out to the clergy from that church to ask them more about it. I have encountered similar teachings before, and once I learned the perspective behind them, it broadened my view of the whole Church

@TChristianFurry I don't know you from Adam, but I know that Jesus reveals himself to those who seek him, and it is by grace that we are saved through faith in him.

As a Christian, have you felt before that you did the unforgivable sin somehow, or worry you're not saved? Because ngl have been feeling it a lot lately. I know me worrying about it is a good sign that I haven't, but ever since going to a lutheran church it has me worrying..
