@Grummz I never use AI on my work. All the work I do is legit designed and draw with my bare hands. AI straight up plagiarize artists and graphic designers. Nothing like feeling proud about the work you do on your own instead of cheat your way to success. And knowledge is key.

Are you finding that the art commission world has been impacted by generative AI? Are there less commissions now? Do you as an artist feel things are any different? What about the customer. Are you buying less art now?

Graphic designers are not respected enough. We are literally the ones responsible for how your brand is perceived visually, our designs are the reason your brand reaches the target audience. We are as important as that Ui/IX designer or developer.

I don't want to update to this, whatever this is. Been an Apple fan for soooo many years (except for gaming). Apple without Steve Jobs is just a corporate machine on autopilot. Every generation slips a little farther into the muck. Maybe it's better in person, but so far Liquid Glass looks bad.

At the end of all things, family and kids is the most important thing you will think about. Maybe we can encourage this and start more families if work culture and policies did more to give families time together and financial or perk incentives. I was always in favor of some paternal leave for Dads, for example, and we implemented this. But what about perks for family vacations or raises when you have kids and have good performance. Just spitballing here.

I always wondered how a paper cash version of caps currency in Fallout would be like since there are "Caps Stashes" around in Fallout 4's Boston map. I decided to design and replace the vanilla caps stashes with an item which represents a ticket from Nuka World which serves as a currency in post-Great War currency. This mod replaces Caps Stashes with Nuka World tickets. Colored red ideally to match with the Nuka Caps. I've never seen anything more stupid than corporations leaning into the "modern audience." That's what happens when you put midwit Tumblr furries in charge of your marketing department. Only 1-in-5 Americans prefer the culture now to when they were children.

@Bungie / @MarathonTheGame made their stand on graphic designers and artists. They steal our work, they steal our opportunity without giving us the credits or the pay for our work. These people are dishonorable people. Their "Art Department" know nothing about the field, uneducated, DEI hires -- they think its all just simple shapes and colors, which is not! A lot of time and research gets put into these graphics. It's time we really stand up to these thieves, it's time to stand up against DEI, it's time that the real graphic designers and artists get the jobs that we deserve! #GraphicDesigner #Artists #marathonthegame
