BREAKING: DePaul has landed a commitment from 6-foot-5 Tulsa guard Ade Popoola per @CBB_Central. The rising senior shot 40.9 percent from beyond the arc in 2025-26. Also averaged 44.7 percent from deep on 7.6 attempts per game in the Golden Hurricanes’ NIT runner-up campaign.

DePaul will have three seven footers on its roster for the second season in a row: •7-foot-2 Fabián Flores (returner) •7-foot-0 Wilson Jacques (Fresno State) •7-foot-0 Magoon Gwath (San Diego State) And this time, all three of them will play regular rotation minutes.

San Diego State transfer Magoon Gwath has committed to DePaul, per his IG page.

BREAKING: DePaul has landed a commitment from Wofford transfer guard Kahmare Holmes. The 6-foot-3 rising junior averaged 19.8 points and shot 35.2 percent from deep for the Terriers in 2025-26. Holmes also posted a gaudy defensive rebounding rate of 17.3 percent per KenPom.

BREAKING: DePaul has earned its first commitment of the transfer cycle in 7-foot-0 Fresno State center Wilson Jacques, per @JonChep. The Metz, France native averaged 8.8 points and 8.8 rebounds for the Bulldogs a season ago and shot 30.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Layden Blocker announced that he will be back next season with DePaul.
