Watched the Michael Jackson biopic Sunday. It was beautiful when it covered something - I loved how it used a song to advance the storyline. I loved the Gary, Indiana, scenes - there's a movie in and of itself there.

@maiamindel So what form of entertainment/recreation isn't "unc slop territory" these days? Movies, sports, games, books, songs: unc slop. For non-uncs, the only legitimate forms of pleasure are 5-hr podcasts about beating yourself in the face with a hammer

Another potential fix might be to have all candidates on the fall ballot. You vote for a party and then for a candidate from none/any/all parties.

This way, candidates with late-breaking scandals could be pushed aside, and non-primary pilled voters could have their voices heard. The voter "education" would be lower than for instant runoff voting.

The Platner discourse is leading me to believe in the validity of what I will call the post-primary. Basically, you'd need to have a line in the general election alongside each party's candidate that is "Some Other Democrat", "Some other Republican", etc.
