@467Doggo There are a few niche scenarios where they matter. The one that comes to mind immediately is the shadow mantle resisting dark/star attacks. There is also the mannequin that resists cat attacks and the dark shard that does extra damage to the titan. Other than that I can't recall.

Does the attack ellements in deltarune do anything besides vary damage? Feels like a waste have all this but have no effect on stats

At my kid's school, the gifted program cut off is 125IQ, and they use a real test to determine this. So I know who the 125IQ+ kids are, and honestly none of them are disruptive or problematic in any way, none are disliked by teachers. Many are shy, "odd" or anxious however.
