Those who shamelessly believe that a monthly salary of 100k or 200k buys a man’s life should send their own sons to the bleeding edges of the border. Only then will Maulana Fazal ur Rehman comprehend the agonising wait of a mother who has sent a piece of her heart into a storm of lead & fire fighting the very terrorists that Maulana Fazal ur Rehman consistently defends & shields every single time the Pakistan Army initiates a counter offensive. This is the dark, grotesque characteristic of democracy where people like Maulana Fazal ur Rehman & Mehmood Khan Achakzai, holding merely 1 or 2 parliamentary seats, arrogantly masquerade as "kingmakers." It is precisely the reason why the democratic system is fracturing & failing worldwide because it allows compromised characters like Maulana & Achakzai to hold entire states hostage to their personal ambitions. Pakistan must pass a strict law to permanently bar characters like Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, his family & Mehmood Khan Achakzai from ever having representation in the National Assembly. In the inner circles of Pakistani politics, it is an open secret that Maulana Fazal ur Rehman has a clear price tag. He acts as a purely transactional player, always up for sale to any government that needs him ruthlessly trading his political stances for lucrative ministries, state favours & personal benefits. Maulana’s political career from the start has been based on hypocrisy & transactions. The 2007 WikiLeaks cables exposed the massive gulf between what Maulana Fazal ur Rehman preaches on stage versus what he begs for behind closed doors. During a private lunch with US Ambassador Anne Patterson, Maulana explicitly admitted that his fierce anti American public rhetoric was just cheap political theater to fool his religious voters. He eagerly begged the Americans to back his ambitions, with Patterson dryly noting his sole goal was angling for the PM's slot. By 2008, he was actively trying to broker a deal with US strategists to secretly give the Taliban political face saving cover while positioning himself as the ultimate boss of the region. He pitched a plan to route all border governance & counter insurgency funding straight through his own machinery demanding a total political monopoly over border resources while begging for #US visas for his entire family. While our brave sons embrace martyrdom fighting terrorists on the frontlines, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman trades their sacred blood for personal ambitions. Whenever the Pakistan Army launches a CR operation, he instantly defends the Taliban & attacks the military. He is a toxic political merchant shielding #Pakistan's ultimate enemies.
