@tedwardwrites Im a comic artist/writer, so my writing is dialogue...and I definitely use contractions because THATS HOW PEOPLE TALK lol🫶🤣 unless the character doesn't speak that way

Writers, you do use CONTRACTIONS in your prose? I’ve heard conflicting advice about this. Does it depend on the POV? Or the target audience? Or the genre? Are there certain ones you always use or always avoid? #WritingCommunity
