@OhioSportsNet @OHADNewsHS (2/2) I personally think you'll see most NIL deals flow from colleges in an effort to maintain commitments from HS recruits.
I don't put it past seeing a rare instance where a parent/alum/booster tries to "pay" players to try and win a HS state championship.

@OhioSportsNet @OHADNewsHS Fairly sure an AD inquired about this in April of 2024 (🙋♂️). IIRC, it won't be the schools or OHSAA's responsibility to monitor/audit. Also, no school affiliated entity is supposed to be involved. (1/2)

19 years ago I was taking math with Mr. Grubb and shadowing our Athletic Trainer for Health Tech class.
Now I watch Coach Grubb on the course and that same Atheltic Trainer's son compete!

Perry's Isabelle Perry, Massillon's Isabella Haines and Lake's Hailey Cooper finished 1-2-3 in the girls shot put. All three advance to regionals. Perry's winning throw was 40 feet, 1.5 inches.
