@FayeShortland I am truly over job hunting. I am utterly miserable and feel like my PhD was a total waste of time. I think I would have made more job progress getting on the job experience. Feels like I’m starting frm scratch.

@PhD_Genie A year since I handed in my corrections and I still feel like I’m recalibrating and far from feeling “normal” (whatever that is!). Also still job hunting!

Always find it funny when PhDs insist on being referred to as 'Dr' in every setting because "I worked hard for it". Ok, but did you work hard for it so that people would call you 'doctor' all the time? Because that's pathetic

I am at the totally frustrated stage of job hunting. I knew this would likely happen but doesn’t make it any easier to navigate. So my solidarity to you all in the same position as I am. Trying to stay up beat and smile and keep going.
