@BlueZephyr19 Pretty image... I go back and forth on watermarks. I finally gave up.

Sorry for the horrid watermark (didn't have ability to do properly) & poor quality of the scan. This is from 1985 --Praktica MTL5 SLR manual camera --Pentacon 50mm lens on extension bellows --Kodak Panatomic-X - 25asa B&W film There's just something about this image that hits me.

Not sure if I'm correct or not, or if it's even apparent in my photographic technique, but I think I take photos that are not that much like the "panoramic" image that is so very popular, but show more personal details of my subjects, down to the color of their eyelashes ...

U.S. Marine Corps Private First Class Luther Skaggs, Jr. of Henderson, Kentucky was awarded the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary actions on July 21, 1944, on Guam. On the night of July 21, 1944, Skaggs, a squad leader with a weapon section in the 3rd Marine Division, was critically wounded when a Japanese grenade exploded in his foxhole on the Asan-Adelup beachhead on Guam. Instead of calling a corpsman and revealing his outfit’s position, he applied a tourniquet to his injured leg and continued to return fire for eight hours. Only when the Japanese in the area had been killed did he seek medical attention, but he lost his leg due to the wound. He was promoted to corporal upon being honorably discharged from active service in the Marine Corps on April 4, 1946 For his actions on July 21, 1944, he was awarded with the Medal of Honor on June 15, 1945. Luther Skaggs, Jr. died on April 6, 1976, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. #WeRememberThem
