@Bluebells4ever @VicDaGBean412 Creo que fue algo como de que el antiguo cantante pedía más regalías y no querían dárselo, creo que así fue, no puedo confirmarlo

But imma keep it real with y’all, the final version of “It's Gonna be a Great Day” is NOTHING compared to the draft version. It is a CRIME that the killer electric guitar solo was taken out and replaced with absolutely nothing. They sucked out all the aura of the instruments too.
Victor G ㋡@VicDaGBean412

And we can’t sing KOTR’s praises without mentioning the unforgettable “It's Gonna Be a Great Day” Having Connor, Caitlin, Gordon, & Spencer race like knights is also a spectacular way to wrap up the special. Not to mention the book we saw in the intro being closed! Good ending 👏

@VicDaGBean412 The original is awesome, and it’s a shame they also got rid of the iconic guitar solo in the final version

@VicDaGBean412 Creo que lo hicieron por una polémica del antiguo cantante y además agregan un HEY en la nueva versión, pero la primera es muy buena rola

@old_known29 You should show the 2nd half of season 1 It’s more engaging than the first half, but still introduces the characters quite well

@SodorCentral_ @reddestroyer05 I’m honestly on Tug’s side with this one Nowadays I get a lot of backlash when I said smtg along the lines of “I don’t get why people glaze Nitrogen’s animation so much.” And then I see tweets along the lines of “just bc Nitrogen had terrible writing doesn’t mean it was bad”

@Oliverfan72 I’ve seen this episode so many times, and it’s still weird to me. Not the worst stock footage ever, but definitely odd

@Phunny_Mann @Man352Train Not as jarring as the clip from Its Only Snow in Not So Hasty Puddings where Thomas went from pulling Annie and Clarabel with his signature snowplow to plowing a path for Toby with his rusted one

So I lowkey had a small fan boy moment when this happened and I told my IRL friends about it, they thought it was cool so they surprised me with a framed screenshot of this moment and I did in fact smile, faint, and topple down a spiral staircase 😂 Love my friends… 🥲

I think it's worth pointing out that when Arc took over they had to reconstruct Sodor completely from the ground up which i can only guess meant there wasn't a lot of time left for KOTR's animation if they wanted to meet the deadlines
Victor G ㋡@VicDaGBean412

This part is where the janky amateur Arc animation shows itself again too. Ever since I first saw this special as a kid, I felt something was off about how the trucks, Percy, Thomas, and especially James’ faces move to form their expressions. It’s so… rigid.

@Bluebells4ever Well if you saw his “let’s rank the brenner era” vid he said it was a mixed bag and since that was the only time he talked about s19 (i think) I just assume his opinion hasn’t change

@Bluebells4ever 1432's IRL fate is unclear - likely quietly sent for scrap at an unknown year. Maybe 1432 went to Sodor and got renamed Duncan.

If there’s 1 Railway Series book that I wish existed… It would be “Duncan the Industrial Engine” We never saw what Duncan’s life was like before living on the SKR. Rusty said “he used to work in a factory, and his language is often strong.” I can see the potential for lore

@Bluebells4ever Fr, people tend to say they're acting childish like Bill and Ben, but that's just not true, a major accident happened and they're just mad for different reasons. They have attitude, and of course they'll argue from time to time, like all brothers do.

These two aren't as individual as you might think, at least not in the TV Series, and no, this didn't start with s6. Whatever character trait one twin has the other has it as well, and there's nothing wrong with making them individual in fan projects, but the way some talk seems-

@tcfsjace If the show slips up every now and then, but is still entertaining and interesting, I would agree. But the nitrogen era (at least the regular episodes) was mostly boring 3 strike formula stories without anything interesting going on. Most ppl wouldn’t call it “entertaining”

ofc not talking abt BMM specifically but man, i can't help but think about what a special era this was - only hindered by the lazy writing as someone who's just accepted it, i adore the nitrogen era so much and it hurts seeing people neglect it off writing alone, it was so fire
Victor G ㋡@VicDaGBean412

Screw the haters, man, the Blue Mountain Quarry is the most goated location the CGI series ever introduced and it was showcased with the hardest musical montage the show ever had. “Working Together” is a certified hood classic under my roof, and it’s the BMQ’s deserved anthem.

Jokes aside, “Whiff’s Wish” hands down has the best opening to any Nitrogen episode. - The first 3 characters we see are Whiff, Rosie, and Charlie - The variety in the locations showcased - All the goods trains are composed of peak rolling stock - The music is nice on the ears

I was talking with a good buddy o’ mine, he brought up how Skarloey nearly losing his cab in this BMM scene could’ve been a nod to “Very Old Engines” when he and Rheneas had no cabs and I think he might be right on the money.
