This was my grandmother who died from a back alley abortion 100 yrs ago. I never got to meet her. She had 4 kids that she had to put in foster care and couldn't deal with doing it with a 5th. I post this as a tribute to all women for the right to have a choice over our bodies.

I made kielbasa and pierogi soup for supper tonight. It’s my Polish grandma’s recipe and it’s great for a chilly night. The green stuff is spinach and arugula. The soup also has mushrooms, onions, and garlic. We made the kielbasa ourselves last month. I buy the mini pierogi.
