Just back from restarting my aim to walk all the streets in #Shrewsbury after a difficult year with body “stuff” going on. Managed 16 more streets today and met some interesting and very nice people. So, totals to date are: Streets walked so far: 1,139 Steps taken so far: 521,598 Miles walked so far: 252.922

During my twelve year Army nursing career I was fortunate (?) to have done five operational tours. Nepal (OP NIGHTINGALE) (earthquake relief), N Ireland (OP BANNER) (casualty care), The Gulf War (OP GRANBY) (running an Intensive Care Unit under canvas), South Africa (BMATT) (helping former warring factions integrate into a new National Defence Force) and Bosnia (NATO OP PALATINE) (coordinating medical operations). I kept detailed diaries and copious photos of each of these tours…………but, just in case anyone ever reads them I thought I’d add this preface…………🫣😊
