Bonehead reaction when he heard "Champagne Supernova" for the first time ever « Noel said, “I’ll play you a few songs I’ve written” I think he actually played us the whole next album. The first one he played was "Champagne Supernova", from start to finish, in the back lounge of the tour bus, around eight in the evening. And I completely fell apart. It hit me, I was in tears, totally overwhelmed on the floor. I heard it in a really stripped-down version: just Noel’s voice and an acoustic guitar. It wasn’t that different from the final version, but you could already tell it was going to be a hit. I was like that Oasis fan hearing it for the first time. It was just too much. »
