Can we have a conversation about WWE WrestlePalooza and AEW All Out going head-to-head on September 20th? Because, in my honest opinion: If Tony Khan is a smart businessman and truly cares about his show not being overshadowed, he should already be making plans to either move All Out to an earlier time in the day or push it to Sunday. I say that knowing the AEW does not currently have the stories or star power to outdraw what looks like a stacked first WWE PLE on ESPN. We’re talking about potential matches like: - John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar - Stephanie Vaquer vs. Rhea Ripley (or maybe even Iyo Sky and Asuka) for the Women’s World Title - Some kind of match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, potentially involving Becky Lynch and AJ Lee - Jade Cargill in a rematch against Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Title - Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title - Plus at least 6–8 matches stacked on the level of SummerSlam or WrestleMania As of right now, the only thing that would make me spend $50 on AEW All Out is if Jon Moxley and Darby Allin went full Texas Chainsaw Massacre in some kind of a Hardcore Deathmatch Gorefest, absolutely destroying each other and painting the canvas red. Anything else would take a MASSIVE amount of storytelling and build, in literally three weeks, to even make me consider choosing AEW over WrestlePalooza. But that’s just me. Where do you all stand? Are you planning to watch both shows or just one? And if it’s one, which one and why?
