🏮#Article #Conclusion In conclusion, advances in #AI will have both positive and negative effects on us. However, this can be mitigated by making digital tools as interactive as possible and decrease the harmful effects it can have on our attention. Thus, for digital tools there is an untapped potential that we have not worked towards yet. Technology has a long way to go, and in the future many of the problems we face with it can be either mitigated or removed entirely.

🏮#Article How to make AI it work with your brain and not against it One of the disadvantages with AI is that it does not model the brain enough for it to be an interactive component in the technology. This is usually the case with modern phones and other sources of technology; we are using the tools passively as observers, which leads us to not spend productive and generative time with the tools we are using. We can use a hammer as an example, if we use the hammer we develop the skill of using the hammer, but we need to be interactive with it for our hammer skills to develop. In the case of #technology, the reverse occurs in modern times: we are made passive users of our own external #tools. An external tool should be an extension and a strengthening tool for our #cognition. Otherwise, we need to make sense of the new cognitive skills required for the new skill. We need to se if technologies of different kinds do have positive effects on the human #brain or not, or if its only degrading our abilities in all domains. This means that we need to make the technology as interactive as possible for us to cognitively benefit from it. If we go back to the hammer, the hammer is not a useful tool if we just swing it around because it won’t make us proficient at hammering and building a house with it. Only the goal of building something with the hammer will make it effective for developing our cognition.

📚#Article How our Mindset Determines how we Take Advantage of Generative AI #AI is developing at an exponential rate, and it will probably not slow down anytime soon. If we learn how to use it as efficiently as possible, it can offer us great advantages. Although the idea that we will “go into a state of entropy of our #brain” as stated by @benshapiro. Its true to some extent as new tools will replace and degrade other human #abilities that have been needed in the past we don’t need some of these abilities anymore. It is hard to tell how how this will play out, because there are still certain skills that are necessary when we have this #technology as an extension of our mind. I believe that AI will help people who lack certain skills to access them, whilst not replacing the skill within the people that do posses them. So, technology has made a lot of things more accessible. For example, it is easier to write on a keyboard than by hand. However, this is seen as something negative and positive at the same time, we still don’t really know if typing is bad for learning in the domain of production. Perhaps we can make interventions for improving writing and making it more effective. There are two skills that are necessary when communicating with AI. The first is to develop your oral and #communication skills. Second, improving your advanced listening #comprehension skills. Focusing mainly on improving your listening skills can cause a loss in writing and reading abilities, which is not optimal because reading and writing will be somewhat important when communicating with AI. On the other hand, oral and listening skills will be more relevant, so I don’t think less than optimal reading and writing abilities will be an issue, because speaking will be an effective way to communicate with computers. This can also develop our #cognition even more, because, as we know, speaking is one of the better tools for developing self-regulating and learning behaviors in dynamic and shifting environments. So, speaking and listening skills have an advantage because both are more efficient than other kinds of modalities.

My thoughts on this #risk assesment model, in my context is that most choices we make has some risk to them however not all risks are created equal. But this model always includes assesing risks even the smallest of risks, thus use this model when risks are involved in implementing new processes into the organization. @McKinsey #risk #assesment #riskassesment #business #uncertainty

(3.) and then we have quantity in the #social sphere, this means that we need to increase the sphere of #influence with higher amount of actions we take. However quality ofcoures is a critical component, however quality comes with the start of quantity, and quality requires quantity to have something to build long-term quality on.

Lesson 2. That mild pain induces #discomfort while practicing can increase your pain tolerance, and thus this can increase your physichal #stamina and mental stamina. To clarify, the pain can be the discomfort of sound in the background while reading if sound disturbs you and vice versa, and offcourse this example is simplified, and it is more complex then that. #resilience
