When we asked small business owners what they’re hoping for most in 2026, the answers were pragmatic: owners aren’t chasing rapid expansion, they’re looking for stability and room to operate.

New at Bluevine: Estimates
Surprise costs don’t build trust. Clear estimates do. With estimates from Bluevine, you can share upfront scope and pricing, get customer approval before work begins, and convert an estimate into an invoice in just one click.
👉 Pro-tip: Estimates live in the same system as invoicing and payments — so when the work’s done, you can get paid faster, including in person with Tap to Pay.

@hey_mindi we know how important reliable access to your funds is when you’re running a business. If you ever have questions about how our spend limits work, we’re here to help.
We’re proud to support small business owners every day. 🚀
English

@SilasAnderson It wasn’t. It was their internal processing system and it automatically capped my daily spend limit at $2500.
Which… is not ok. Ha
Thank you for these recs! I’ll check them out.

I can't believe I am typing this...
I just went to make a purchase using my business debit card. Declined.
Well that's strange because I know for certain the funds are available. So I call the bank to see what's up.
She looks at my account, all is in order. Escalates the call to another department.
Do you want to know what they said?
This is a direct quote, "The system that handles this is having a Monday. When this happens, it usually takes around a half hour to reset your daily limit allowance. During this time, your daily limit is restricted. So sorry for the inconvenience."
Umm... I'm sorry but... my BANKING system is "having a Monday?!" That doesn't work for me.
I laughed, and said I have been having a Monday for the last two weeks (which is true... see previous hacking experience posts).
But that being said, I need a new bank. Immediately. This is ridiculous
Suggestions?
And before you ask, no I'm not telling you what bank I use (because... please {again} see previous posts about how I was just hacked). I trust no one 🤪
Oh and also, if you enjoy hearing real time insane updates about my reselling business and every hootenanny that comes with it... here I am, telling it all: @hey_mindi

In 2025, far fewer small business owners beat their profit expectations.
Only 30% say their profitability exceeded expectations last year, down from 57% in 2024. After years of rising costs and inflation, margins are getting tighter — and many owners are adjusting by cutting expenses or raising prices just to stay afloat.
This shift sets the backdrop for how small businesses are approaching 2026.
