Graduated my Master’s degree with a first today - it’s been a really tough year, but the hard work’s paid off. Time to figure out next steps… although I may just have a quiet Christmas first.

We didn’t win any awards, but I’m massively proud of the 2 other Master’s collab teams representing Staffs, who both won awards for their projects! Well done, guys!

I was at the #GRShowcase today! Showed off a little collab project I’d been working on called Doomveil, an isometric dungeon-crawler inspired by Diablo, MediEvil and Skyrim. Very proud of my team, who put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the project!

So, that sure was a busy year… sure hope I didn’t completely forget to upload any work or anything! That aside, here’s my setup for #GradEx 2025! I’m showcasing Ghoulist, a stylish little FPS sandbox I put together in about 6 weeks :)

Fun fact - I graduated my BSc Games Design and Programming course today! Next up is a Master’s in Game Design, and after that, who knows?

Update to this: I won third place in games design! A massive thanks to my supervisor and friends for helping make this possible (especially @LJStrange for the art contributions)!

Finally all set up for GradEx with my FYP - once today is done, it’s time for a nice long summer break. I’ll be updating here with work from the past University year (mainly my FYP) over the summer!

Doing a multiplayer networking module in Unity - I haven’t touched the engine in a while, so I’ve gotta start with the basics.

Turns out a few days meant almost a month - oops. Anyway, here's a thread of screenshots. The map is now showcased on my portfolio website too!

Finally finished my Multiplayer Level Design module work the other day, as well as other uni hand-ins for Christmas. Gonna take a few days off, then I might throw some screenshots up here…
