Brad Malone has officially announced his retirement from the @NHL after 9 seasons. Brad was drafted in the 4th round of the 2007 Entry Draft to the @Avalanche, where he would join the roster in the 2011-12 season. He would make his way to the @Canes, and @EdmontonOilers over his career, totalling for 217 regular-season games-played and scored 32 points. Malone also made his mark in @TheAHL, where he played in 552 regular-season games and scored 291. He captained the @Condors for four seasons with his main goal of having a positive impact on all lives he touched. You could say Brad was meant to play professional hockey with the long line of hockey players in his family: father Jim Malone (1st round pick to NYR in 1980), uncle Greg Malone (704 NHL games-played/former director and head scout of numerous NHL teams), cousin Ryan Malone (647 NHL games-played), younger brother Brett Malone (former QMJHL forward), cousin Cole Huckins (3rd round pick to CGY in 2021/current USports), and father-in-law Kirk Muller (Stanley Cup Champion/1,349 NHL games-played/current WSH assistant coach).
