We’re delighted to hear that exa-cel has been approved by @NICEComms to treat sickle cell disorder! This innovative gene therapy is the first of its kind, offering a potential cure to people without a stem cell donor.

A Manchester CRF patient is first in the UK to receive an innovative treatment for a serious form of the autoimmune condition lupus. The Phase 1 study is assessing cancer therapy for lupus, which can damage the heart, lungs, joints, brain or kidneys. @MFTnhs @MFT_Research
