@Fungus317 Thought about this for a while. I think the answer is: Play Amber Emerald and encourage everyone in the competitive scene to play it too. Get the meta share up past 50% ASAP at a mid-major event and RB will react to the unhealthy meta with bans. 😅

This is a game where I shifted phillip and cast under the sea on turn 4 and then again on turn 5. Never had a chance. Legit what beats this otd?

@MasakadoWasTkn @ink_decks @JVLorcana @Mattyloons This list looks so much like Blurple but better in some ways & worse in others? Is it mainly teched for the Prince Phillip combo? I see Mowgli and Horseman Strikes as anti-combo which is good, but then you lose Hades and ITU. Lantern repeats ramp but is uninkable and only 4 of.

@thearendavid @Fungus317 Aggro is tempting for me for this reason. I’ve played midrange Blurple the last few sets and am almost always going to time. I need a break. Hah

@Fungus317 i love hanging out with the other aggro players in between rounds and watching the control players use up the whole clock.

Why do people want to end the game so fast? If you really loved this game you would take more turns and enjoy yourself. #Lorcana

@hsroyboy @Fungus317 Great points! In my head, Willow is slightly better because she can be turned sideways to quest as 1 more lore to reach, but from what the other replies say it’s more about the combo with wide boards. If the right cards get printed or rotated out she becomes Lantern.

@Fungus317 Genuinely asking, How is willow that much better than lantern, when character removal is more common? I understand willow has a body that can challenge and quest, but you never really want to do either of those things. #nottrolling

I think these things are pretty glaring design mistakes. I guess every card game has to learn this lesson.

@Cre8tcg @lorcana_s4iler Daisy does account for 14 of the Lore in this 4 turn win scenario. What’s crazy is that also could draw Daisy’s opponent up to 4 cards before they win, and up to 7 cards if Mulan+Tramp doesn’t get played and the game continues.

My opponent went OTP: T1 Daisy T2 Daisy Daisy T3 1d Lilo 2d Mulan T4 Pudge Tramp2 - 21 lore. Almost no deck can do something about that OTD. We might have a huge aggro problem.

@WoahChuck01_ I’m pretty sure Ravensburger recently updated the rules and said something to the effect of “if you both agree you see an infinite combo, you can just fast forward through it for the sake of time.” I was pretty surprised to see that.

I think the most important lesson from the whole Monstro combo thing is MAKE THEM DO IT EVERY SINGLE TIME! If their hand is small the combo can fail. They can discard the necessary pieces before hitting draw needed to hand replenish. They might fudge it. Make them do it.

@DekksterGaming Vertical phone orientation and 3 minute games has been the handiest gaming experience I’ve ever had, no doubt. Hard to jump back into when you do put it down for a few months though.

@SkyLorcana Given the deck name, I expected a Mayor Winddancer build. I feel shortchanged. The 4 Horsemen would be a good name for this one though!

Went 4-2 at the Sharp Gaming 10k, deck is incredibly strong and both losses were due to sleep deprived misplays. I think this list is very solid but I will grind some more and probably release a guide soon.
