It’s been brought to my attention by many that lately old clips of That Metal Show have been making the rounds on social media. To that I say GREAT! And thank you to the fans for keeping it alive. None of us have any ownership of the show. But keeping it out there keeps hope that maybe somehow it comes back one day. The support for this show still 10 years after it ended blows me away. I just saw it in Brazil this weekend. Thank you all. Who knows what the future holds.

Great White’s beginnings were in Orange County California. In 1980 a band called U2 played a club called the Woodstock where we were the house band adopted by the owners. Around 11 people were in attendance the night U2 played! Their band had my full attention! 4 of the 11 people were playing pinball machines! The power went out & a worker went out to the alley to flip the breaker. After this happened twice it finally stayed on. The first thing I noticed was their stage volume was really low but they sounded incredible!! I remember Edge’s right hand was in constant motion. Dicky Bett’s had that habit from practicing guitar without a drummer, and it stuck. One year later U2 was massive with their single New Years Day! I knew there was something special about U2 right away!! They were a real band that started in the garage and took the music to the streets! That’s how it’s done, when it’s done the right way! It’s called human connection, you take your music to the people. I don’t agree with Bono’s political views but their music hit a nerve with fans around the world.🎼 @U2

Hello Friends! Just wanted everyone to know I was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer a few months ago. I wanted to wait to go public until I knew a little more about it. Just to give you an update the tumor has shrunk from 13 centimeters to 8, so I’m going in the right direction with my first scan. There isn’t a cure for cancer but what I have is manageable. I have the best doctor’s in the world and one of them invented Immunotherapy which is the treatment I’m on. I only had to do 3 radiation treatments which is a good thing! To be clear, I don’t need any financial help but I’ll take prayers & encouragement!😊👍 I’m gonna fight this thing and be okay. People in my support group were diagnosed with my exact issue up to 20 yrs ago, so that is encouraging! Blessings All!🙏
