IDK what the NJ Devils are doing any more and quite frankly I DONT CARE. Look at the eastern conference. Look at the metro division. Think of the playoff picture. You snag a wild card and get ran through by Carolina or Tampa Bay in the first round of Playoffs? Seems like an excellent waste of time. You somehow snag an actual playoff position and get beat up by Pittsburgh or the Islanders who already swept you this season? What's the point? The best thing we as fans can do right now is support the downward spiral. I love seeing my team win just as much as the next person but this team won't make it through playoffs. Does this mean you shouldn't go to games? No. Go to the game. Keep your expectations low. Right now, we have a rare opportunity to just sit back and enjoy the ride that will take us to a far better draft pick.....and right now there's a 6% chance it takes us to the number one draft pick. The odds aren't good but 6% is a lot better than 0 and another first round exit in the playoff picture.
